Extending BigTop to test Tez on HDP.

We recently used BigTop's new test framework to validate Cloudera's Hadoop on Gluster FS.

I've also been playing some with Tez as well, and if your interested in adding new tests to BigTop, I've just put together a new post on how to extend from BIGTOP-1222 to test Apache Tez.

Hope to see more tests flowing into BigTop : More tests that we all maintain together == more robust hadoop systems for the community !

I think the lesson here is that Cloudera, Hortonworks, Red Hat, and many other companies all benefit equally from transparent, shared tests that cover the basic hadoop ecosystem components.
